Hopes were already high for Bethel thrower Alyssa Solberg (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson) as she entered her senior season in 2015 with program records already in her name. However, she may have saved the best for last, as she turned in a pair of MIAC-leading distances and two top-four finishes in an impressive 2015 indoor debut at the Bethel Open on Jan. 10. For her performance, the MIAC sports information directors honored SolbergWednesday with the first MIAC Women's Indoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week award of the 2015 season.
